The total capitalization of the crypto-market has declined to the $1.6 trillion mark, according to CoinGecko. The drop was the first since August 2021.  
 
The decline in the market of digital assets is seen after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation in Donbass. In a video message, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said the country was imposing martial law.
