The BBC decided (https://www.theguardian.com/media/2022/feb/10/bbc-cryptocurrency-documentary-pulled-from-air-at-last-minute) not to show a movie about a crypto investor who made $8 million out of $50 million after questions arose about the credibility of the story.
The 20-year-old from Birmingham said he invested as little as $50 in digital assets in early 2021 and had earned $1 million by the end of the first quarter, but by the end of the year, he had reached $8 million — a return of about 16,000,000%.
The Guardian claims that the young man earned that wealth by fraudulent means – he issued an Orfano token, promoted it, and last October withdrew all the liquidity from the pool and left investors with no money.
