South Korea's Sungkyunkwan University has become the first university to begin issuing official documents in a crypto-asset format. 

Representatives of the university noted that NFT diplomas have three major advantages: 

1. They are hard to lose 

2. The document is impossible to forge 

3. Tokenized certificate acts as official proof of graduation
